Blue Bear Chalet - 4 Bdrm + Den HT - Big White

This stunningly sophisticated residence is located in Feathertop, Big White’s newest ski-in/ski-out community. It is richly appointed with modern appliances, thoughtful floor plans and expert craftsmanship. The foyer with its heated slate flooring leads up to the first level. To the left is a wet bar, with mini bar fridge and sink, square glass table with bar stools - all perfectly located for the hot tub which is tucked away for ultimate privacy. The Den offers a wet bar, a grand 52” flat screen TV, iPod Dock, HDMI home theater system with surround sound and a coffee table with side tables. Bedroom three is nestled in the corner and boasts a queen suite with a full ensuite and small walk in closet, as well as a lovely furniture set complete with a recliner in the corner. A window over looks the hot tub. Relax and enjoy some privacy, curl up with a good book or put your feet up and watch the 26” flat screen TV.

The main bathroom is to the right of the stairs beside bedroom four - a full suite with a deep soaker tub. The fourth bedroom has 2 single bunk beds. One has drawers built into the stairs. A funky bedside lamp is provided with an iPod dock built in. There is a double closet, and a window that looks over the garage. Relax and enjoy the 26” flat screen TV.

On the second floor the kitchen awaits. With a large raised breakfast bar and 4 bar stools, enjoy a coffee on the granite counters. Create a fabulous meal, using one or both of the ovens, large modern appliances, ceramic stove top, side by side fridge and all the utensils you need. A corner sink with a view of the ski bridge adds natural light to brighten up the kitchen. A massive stone table that seats twelve guests exemplifies the entertainment aspect of this Chalet!

Several sofas (including one sofa bed) and loveseats surround the living area. A large stone fireplace has all your electronic needs built in including a 46” flat screen TV, and an HDMI iPod dock. A gorgeous wood mantel adds a touch of rustic design, with vaulted ceilings - this living space has class! Extra seating is built into the coffee table. There are large windows for more natural lighting and a ceiling fan to circulate the warmth.

This Chalet has an outstanding drying room, with a half bath and an entrance to a covered barbeque area. On the landing is the laundry area with washer and dryer, centrally located. Laundry soap is included. To the right is bedroom two with a beautiful queen sized suite and boasting a four post bed, bedside tables and dresser with marble tops - true sophistication. On the wall is a 26” flat screen TV. There is a large walk in closet. The ensuite has a steam shower for 2, with rain shower head, a double vanity with hairdryer and heated floors.

Travelling up to the top floor, you enter into an African themed landing with a chaise lounge, and a private patio. To the left an amazing master bedroom, stone fireplace, large queen size 4 poster bed with iron tie ins - a truly magnificent suite. To the right is a large walk in closet and straight ahead a gorgeous master ensuite, and a large window with privacy glass to provide natural lighting. The ensuite bathroom has a steam shower for 2 with a rain head, a double vanity with a hair dryer, with all towels and toiletries provided.

Ski in/out access is first class from the door at the back of the property to "Shortcut Ski Run" which takes you down to the Black Forest Chair Lift or Laura’s Gondola in Happy Valley. The ski entrance is at the rear of the property and has a slate floor wood panel boot dryer and half bath. There is an outdoor ski locker with a covered walkway leading to the ski run.

There is parking in the garage for one or two small cars and one more in front of the double garage doors. All other vehicles must be parked at Happy Valley Car Park with purchased permit.
